About Bodegas Mauro

Bodegas Mauro is a family winery from Tudela de Duero in Spain’s historic Duero Valley. Founded in 1980 by Mariano García of Vega Sicilia, it pairs a restored 17th-century manor with a modern cellar to turn tradition into quietly confident wines with a strong sense of place. About 90 hectares of mature bush vines are farmed with biodynamic care. The García family still runs the show, with Eduardo in the cellar and Alberto at the helm. Sister estates San Román and Garmón Continental widen the map across the Duero. Annual production is around 300,000 to 350,000 bottles, and the wines pour in more than 60 countries.
