About Myrna Barrios
A classically trained violinist with deep roots in Mexican musical tradition, Myrna Barrios began her studies under her grandfather, José Guadalupe López, before continuing at the Conservatory and Sacred Music School in Toluca. She has performed with orchestras across Mexico, including the Estado de México Youth Orchestra, the Acapulco Philharmonic, and the Mexican Classical Orchestra. Since 2010, she has been a member of the Querétaro Philharmonic Orchestra, where her expressive playing and technical precision continue to bring both baroque and Mexican compositions to life.
About Alonso Hernández
Alonso Hernández is a double bassist, educator, and researcher whose career bridges Mexico and the United States. He studied at the National Conservatory in Mexico, Yale University, and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, before earning a Ph.D. in Arts from the University of Guanajuato. He served as principal double bassist of the Querétaro Philharmonic Orchestra for twelve years and is now a full-time professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He also advises graduate research at the International University of La Rioja in Spain and is a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers.
About Frank Herrgott
Frank Herrgott is a French pianist, composer, and producer based in Thailand, known for his genre-spanning work with some of the country’s most celebrated artists, including Stamp, Burin, and Boyd Kosiyabong. His own music projects, such as Frank Herrgott & Friends and his 24 piano preludes in collaboration with Yamaha Thailand, blend classical influences with contemporary sounds. Whether on stage or in the studio, Herrgott’s work is marked by curiosity, creativity, and a global perspective rooted in his classical training.
